What do you know about Denmark? Think about it: hotdogs, licorice, beer, and a definite taste for alcohol. Vikings, Hamlet and Lego. Nor must we forget Hans Christian Andersen, Trentemøller and Junior Senior. So did we leave anything out? But of course we did; Jesper Ryom! This young Dane has already made a far-reaching impression with his "Nature Boy EP" on La Fleur’s label Power Plant Records, and recently his talent could also be heard on his remix of Marian’s "Passengers" on their remix album of “Only Out Hearts to Lose”. And now we are proud to present four new tracks on the digital Freude-Am-Tanzen sister label FATzig.

Jesper’s music is proof that house can be clever and still danceable, emotional and still cool. Again and again he mixes jazzy samples with self-played instruments and places these on a groovy four/four base to his own refined and not too heady vision of house. He’s got both legs in the club, and his mind on cloud nine. Guitar riffs drenched in reverb, vocals full of melancholy and harmonies for at least two eternities. Music that doesn't look at pop as a curse word, loves jazz and breathes dub. Direct from Copenhagen over Jena and out throughout the world. 1. Viewpoint
'Viewpoint' polishes the disco ball, samples soul and dives deep in the sounds of strings and classic soundtracks. The perfect track for the early morning, it brings a wide smile to your face. Real dance floor romance and in the best case a musical blow kiss from the DJ for the way home.



2. It's So
"It's so easy loving you", croons the sweet vocal while a fresh bass thumps along funky cowbells and shuffled rhythms, everything tied together by floating synth chords. For those still standing in place, check your pulse!


3. Clock
Tick-Tack-Tick-Tack... With each beat "Clock" moves the listener on the dance floor. A plucked synth grooves on top of an increasingly atmospheric background, while a steady groove gives the track gravity. The result: timeless.


4. Ghostly
Dreamy sampled vocals is the center of this melancholic groove. A saxophone sprinkles a funky 80's charm of the best kind and makes 'Ghostly' one of these pop things where you allow yourself to fall softly and land right on the dance floor.
